What continues to play out is Lindsay Lohan's rehab treatment now at the Betty Ford Clinic in LA where medics want mom Dina OUT as her manager and IN as a parent..gee what a concept huh? The Mel Gibson drama continues with his battle with ex GF Oksana over custody, abuse, etc... Now according to multiple reports looks like Mel will have a cameo in the highly anticipated sequel, The Hangover playing a tattoo artist; not sure if America is ready to laugh at him?!

What's up with all the recent "celebrity splitsville couples"? The finally finalized Tiger Woods and Elin; as he shells out $115 million..wowsie!! Too bad so sad, (I'm guessing depends who you ask)! Now Courtney Cox and David Arquette, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, and recent sources saying Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck in trouble? Geez can't we all just get along?

Moving on..how about the new cast of Dancing With The Stars? I have to admit my first instinct before seeing any of them dance was putting Brandy at the top with Jennifer Grey not far behind; but now we know Jennifer is truly in it to win it!! Which were hearing behind closed doors some "tension" from fellow castmates that Jennifer's high scores are really becoming a bit "annoying"?! Hey..the art of competition my friends! Jersey Shore's Mike "the situation" was quite the situation on the dance floor "eeeek", and it was his time up for sure! Bristol Palin..boring..but hey, A for effort! I can go on and on..tune in on Tuesday's to get the latest eliminations!

How about the new American Idol news for Season 10 "NEW" judging panel! I think rocker Steven Tyler will be awesome! They needed to fill that seat with that rocker edge, especially with more and more "rockers" auditioning every season..no brainer..I GET IT! Ms. Jenny from the block Lopez, yeah..okay..it will work. I mean, Ellen did NOT belong in that seat..love her as a comdian/show host; not as a judge for IDOL. Kara's exit, thinking she had the "goods" to stay but not that "celebrity power". I will miss Simon as I'm sure millions of others will, you HAVE to give this season a chance; especially to all you "LIFERS" of IDOL!

Finally, I want to put my thoughts out on the new season of GLEE! Yes, I'm a 100% certified GLEEK, but every episode this new season has put a high focus on SEX in many different forms. I'm quite annoyed, considering it takes the 8:00 p.m slot and my 14yr old and 9yr old children have been fans since last season. Verrrrrry uncomfortable and not getting the "sexual story lines" C'mon Glee directors/producers, you certainly don't need the boost in ratings so what gives? Quite frankly, I think the show will lose some credibility on this.

...and THAT'S A WRAP for MAY!!!

Phew..May was here and then it was GONE!!!?? A new IDOL was crowned, Dancing With the Star's newest mirrorball trophy winner, Nicole Sherzinger and Derek Hough... Let's get to IDOL!!

Lee Dewyze!! Proud to say he had my vote. I WAS a Crystal supporter, had she won would've been NO SURPRISE..but what I love is how Lee grew with the show and THAT'S what IDOL is truly about. I love Lee's edge to him, and humbleness (let's hope he keeps to his true character) and pure heart and soul for his passion!

Now..will IDOL survive without Mr. Simon Cowell?? Well, let's consider the facts..he is the show..he's the guy you LOVE to hate, but knows the biz and truly has made only one mistake in his career with IDOL..when he dismissed a woman called..JENNIFER HUDSON??? haha..which as we know NOW ended up being the best decision maybe he did make??!! anywho.... I know I will miss him, we would get along just fine had he been a friend of mine..I GET HIM AND WHAT HE'S TRULY ABOUT..and let's face it..his new show in the works, The X-FACTOR will probably be the next phenomenon..stay tuned..

Brett Michaels..my god??!! Talk about persistence, positivity, and the "I'm not going to let a brain hemorrhage/hole in my heart- near DEATH experience keep me from my passions"!! What an inspiration!! Let's continue to wish him well! And the thought of HIM replacing Simon as a judge..I'M LIKIN' IT!!

Pussycat Doll's, Nicole Sherzinger nails DWTS!! No..not shocked!! Truly un-deserving in a way? Hey, the shows execs knew what she already had under her belt, so..fair game!! As a dancer myself, not ballroom taught, but I know my basics..you DO have an edge, but you can't take away the talent she displayed and brought to the dance floor EVERY TIME!! so CONGRATS!! And I won't waste my time on Kate Gosselin, dear lord..just can't go there..over and out!

The end of "24", "Lost"..all good things do come to an end, at least they leave on a good note, wanting MORE and driving all you fans CRAZY!! lol.. But, keep in mind to new seasons in play with my fave..THE CAKE BOSS, TLC..love my Buddy Velastro! America's Got Talent new season with new judge Howie Mandel..So You Think You Can Dance underway..Yup..I'll continue to be busy!!

Happy 1 month Anniversary!!!

Well..I have hit the 1 month of my new Hollywood Headlines segment on 102.9 drc-fm , Jerry Kristafer Morning Show! Having a blast and getting comfy! A BIG thank you to all who support me and continue to show your love :) :)!!

I am thrilled for Sandra Bullock, I mean who knew that beyond closed doors she's been pouring out her heart and soul with her new baby boy Louis!! Ya see, one never really knows what goes on do we? BIG KUDOS..and of course everything that goes around COMES AROUND Sandra, Elin and all the other strong women!!! Do stay tuned in at 7:45 Monday thru Friday and I'll keep you all up to date!!

IDOL..were getting closer..tick tock..Is it fair to say Crystal Bowersox has this licked?? Hmmm..one never knows BUT she does have my vote for the WIN! My Lee Dewyze hanging tough too!! I know everyone hated to see our CT'S own Katie Stevens go, but I think in her case age really did make a difference. She will do fine and the experience she got throughout the show will continue to make her that big star!!

C'MON SANDRA..C'MON ELIN.sorry..sounding off...

How do they not know? How do you not sense it? I'd like to think that when your married to a high-profile athlete, celebrity...their traveling on the road maybe 300 days a year and your NOT with them.. Which a-haaaa (lightbulb moment) ..maybe that would be the first sign of trouble??? Last I checked, a marriage, or shall I say a "traditional" marriage (cuz even now, that's debatable these days) requires lots of work..Yes single ladies or soon-to-be-married ones....the work begins AFTER the I DO'S.. So if your man/spouse/ is never home, spending most of the week without you...HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET ER' DONE?? It starts out unhealthy!! So beyond that.... Do you really think Sandra and Elin NEVER KNEW??? Never saw the signs?? You know that feeling in your stomach, it kinda hits you like this queezie feeling..(like your in a dark parking lot by yourself and your thinking EEEEKKK RUN)....These women had to have this feeling at some point with their man..but you LOOK AWAY?? Don't wanna go there??? YEAH..SO THE MEN "GO THERE" AND THEY KEEP GOING!!!! Leave these good women ALONE..Continue to fill your average trophy cases..YOU DON'T DESERVE the OSCARS!!

IDOL...

So, I'm trying..I mean..I'm REALLLLLY trying to enjoy this season of IDOL.. More so, because of our gal and CT native Katie Stevens. Look..I'm not trying to say it's easy to get out there in front of millions and do your thing.. But this season's finals?? It's a disappointment!! From their singing talent, choice of song, choice of clothing...it's BAHHHH!! I would be making phone calls to my BFF'S, or ESPECIALLY if I knew of anyone in the music business to give me any/all advice they could. I feel that so far this season with maybe a few exceptions, they are treating this competition more like "karoke" event. exp.."I've been known to sing this song really well, so I'll go for it"..NO NO NO!!! IDOL is looking for it's next ARTIST!!! WOW US!! I don't care what anyone says about Adam Lambert..he was A-MAZING! From his voice, to his choice of song, to the way he COMPOSED his choice of song, and to his choice of dress. IT ALL WORKED, IT STILL WORKS and he's an ARTIST!! Please Katie..really use those pipes you were given to it's fullest, we STILL haven't heard em' yet and YOU GOT EM'..Come out this week and dress in your favorite jeans, sparkly shirt, cute short jacket and a real cute pair of boots! Pick a song that you would be blasting in your car with your BFF'S and WOW the crap out of us!! I guess that's how I'll sum it up...WOW US!!

My first blog blog blog! Hooray!!! I always have lots to talk about, so this is PERFECT for me!! For those of you who don't know me..Hmmmm.how to keep it short and simple??? hee hee..Grew up on a stage..singing, dancing.. Then ya get older..you meet that  man of your dreams..start a family.. BUT keeping your passions ALWAYS in check....Which led me into another fascinating passion..BROADCASTING.. I connected with really good people, which led me to an audition for traffic reporting with Metro Networks..
Traffic you say?? It began an adventure I connected with and not to mention, the opportunity to work and learn from great professionals in the industry!!  With hard work, I was offered the "afternoon drive" schedule and shortly after, began reporting for the "morning drive". My stations were fan-TAB-ulous and felt honored to work which such "big stations" and some "big talent" all over Connecticut.. Sad but true, Metro had to close its Hartford hub and the talented crew of us, were going to be without jobs unless we wanted to merge out in Boston..Sorry, no can-do.. But, continuing my friendships with my stations, 102.9 DRC FM, Jerry Kristafer from the morning show has asked me to come back and do entertainment reporting for his show. So this April 1, you can tune in and hear me Monday-Friday 6:50 a.m. I will be Michele Quadrato of DFX Entertainment!!
PHEW..that's the just a tad bit of what's happening at DFX.. Ya know..I think I'm gonna like this blog stuff.. Tune in tomorrow..let's talk IDOL.. bye for now!!

Favorite TV shows

I never was a big TV fan..the only shows I liked some of you may not remember..like Solid Gold, Soul Train, Star Search, and the older variety shows like Sonny and Cher. Then suddenly all those shows disappear. Even though those great shows are gone they have launched so many careers.
Fast forward to today and all most everyone's watches, America's got talent, Dancing with the Stars, or So you think you can Dance..my new favorite. Either way all of these shows are awesome and send hope and inspiration out to the new generation of entertainers.
